My name is Trish Peacock and I live on St. Agnes and my workshop is in the beautiful Island Hall, alongside other very talented makers - Lou Simmonds. Mark Eberlein, Piers Lewin, Little Island Chocolate and Emily Sladen. I handweave luxury scarves using a range of carefully sourced British Wool and other natural fibres e.g. linen, banana. All my scarves can also double up as bed runners!
I hold a small amount of stock and take commissions and orders, in specific colours, wools, sizes, fringing, etc. You can have a genuinely one off piece made for you. If you can’t see what you want in stock, I’m happy to make something bespoke for you. I don’t charge an extra commission price - just my normal retail price and if you don’t like it I’m happy to accept returns so there is very little risk. I love putting together different fibres and colours so do get in touch
A handwoven scarf, made for you, can transform an item of clothing as well as become a talking point!
I am really passionate about all the beautiful wool we produce here in the UK and am proud to be a partner with the Campaign for Wool and this year am thrilled to be working with John Arbon Textiles in Devon. I’m using their Devonia range from 3 local sheep breeds in Devon dyed in a range of beautiful colours reminiscent of both Devon and Scilly.
I also offer workshops where you can have a go at weaving - book via www.eventbrite.co.uk but sadly this year I don’t think they will be happening. If you do make it over, do contact me.
